Hello! I am Kaixing ZHAO and now I am Assistant Professor at School of Software, Northwestern Polytechnical University, China. I obtained my Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from the Elipse team, Toulouse Institute of Computer Science Research (CNRS UMR 5505), which is a joint lab between CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) and University of Toulouse. I was also a post-doc researcher with Prof. Bin Guo (Full Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University). My research is dedicated to designing novel sensing and interaction techniques in the field of ubiquitous computing.
My Ph.D. supervisors were Dr. Christophe Jouffrais (Senior Research Scientist in Cognitive Science, CNRS, Director of IPAL Lab of CNRS and Director of "Cherchons pour Voir" Lab) and Dr. Marcos Serrano (Associate Professor in Computer Science, University of Toulouse).
